Turn a CSV into a PDF that someone can actually read: the table fitted to the page, a header on every page, page numbers, and your own colours. Made on the phone, never on a server.
How to convert a CSV file to PDF on your phone
- Open the CSV file in Smart CSV on your iPhone, iPad or Android phone.
- Optionally filter, sort or hide columns, or select the rows you want. With nothing selected, every row is exported.
- Tap ⋯ → PDF. A live preview of the first pages shows what you’ll get.
- Pick a preset (Report, Data dump or Presentation) and adjust the page size, columns, header and footer.
- Tap export. The PDF opens for a last look, with Share to send it or save it to Files.
A PDF that fits the page
Most converters squeeze every column onto the page or cut the table off at the edge. Smart CSV lets you choose: keep the widths you see in the app, fit everything onto the page width, or size each column to its text. Wide tables repeat their pinned columns on every page, so each page still makes sense on its own.
Header, footer and page numbers
Put a title on top of every page and your own text in the footer, with the page number, the page count, the date or the file name filled in for you. Rename the# column, group rows by a column with a heavier line between groups, and make any column bold or right-aligned. See Export PDF for every setting.
Only the rows you need
The PDF is what the table shows. Filter it to last month’s orders, sort it by amount, hide the internal columns, or select a few rows, and only those are printed. The finished PDFs are kept under Exported files on the home screen.
Questions
Is CSV to PDF free?
Yes, for files up to 1,000 rows. Smart CSV Pro exports any number of rows and adds Batch PDF, which converts up to 50 CSV files at once.
Is my file uploaded to a server to make the PDF?
No. The PDF is made on your phone. Online converters upload your file; Smart CSV never does, which matters for bank statements, customer lists and anything else private.
My table is too wide for the page. What can I do?
In Layout, choose Fit width to shrink the table onto the page, switch to landscape or a larger paper size, or hide the columns you don’t need. Long text can wrap instead of being cut.
Can I convert many CSV files to PDF at once?

Does the PDF keep Chinese, Japanese, Arabic or Thai text?
